Leonardo Rincon
Leonardo Rincon was born in Boca Raton-Florida, July 24th in 2005. He is the 5th generation of classical violinists in his family. Leonardo started playing the violin at age 3 with his father and present violin teacher Antonio Rincon. Very early on this music education, Leonardo showed a great appreciation for music. Leonardo, for two consecutive years, was awarded a scholarship to attend Luzerne Summer Music Center and the Music Festival of Dominican Republic.
Leonardo is a member of the Florida Youth Orchestra, where he plays in the first violin section. He is also Concertmaster of the Vivace Music Academy String Orchestra.
Leonardo was chosen to perform a recital for the 40th year anniversary of the Art Counsel of Palm Beach and was chosen to participate in the All-State Orchestra for 5 consecutive years and the Palm Beach All-County Orchestra. Leonardo was also recently was selected and played in the 2021 NYO-2 orchestra. In June Leonardo was selected to be apart of a 2 day summer intensive and studied with Violinist Philip setzer. Leonardo also was selected and attended the 2020 Sphinx performance academy virtually.
Leonardo was awarded “Superior with distinction” for solo and ensemble evaluation all 3 years while he attended the Bak Middle School of the Arts, where he was the concerto competition winner to perform the Winter Concerto from the Four Seasons by Vivaldi, and the first violin solo for the Christmas Concerto by A. Corelli, performing it with the Bak MSOA String Orchestra, Presently Leonardo is a Junior year student at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where he was selected to be part of the Dreyfoos Philharmonic Orchestra since 9th grade. He is also the concerto competition winner with the J.S. Bach Violin Concerto in E, with Dreyfoos School of the Arts orchestra. Currently Leonardo lives in Boynton Beach with his mom Valeria, his dad Antonio Rincon, and his sister Cecilia. Leonardo enjoys playing solo and chamber music recitals, and is regularly invited to perform for multiple venues in South Florida and abroad with great hope to becoming a professional musician.

Beside my native English language, I am also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese which I enjoy it very much as I learn and keep in my heart the culture influence of both of my parents. I have traveled many countries in North and South America.
I have volunteered since I am 5 years old at many retirement homes in South Florida playing violin and bringing the joy of music for seniors, I love to talk with them about my life and my goals. Recently I have played at the Convention Center for the Cancer Awareness Foundation. I also volunteer at Alexander W. Dreyfoos for occasion usher at concerts. I also provide volunteer work for Florida Youth Orchestra.
